In the 32-year history of Backswath Management, many have played key roles in building the firm – and helping our clients succeed.
That said, there’s only one Jacquie Gerrard. Since 2011, she has made a signature contribution to creating the Backswath we know today.
They say all good things must come to an end. Jacquie recently announced she’ll be leaving the firm to focus on family and other personal priorities.
Backswath is proud and grateful for everything Jacquie contributed, but sad that we’ll be seeing less of her.
We asked our Founder and President Terry Betker about Jacquie’s deep impact on the firm and its culture.
“In the early days of Backswath, Jacquie and I spent a lot of time designing the approach that we use to work with clients, and that model is still the one we use today,” Terry says. “Jacquie brings an analytical mindset and a deep understanding of practice management. She engages with clients in a way that they find very capable and easy to work with.”
Jacquie thinks fondly of the many ways that she and Backswath have helped clients succeed over the past 12 years. Looking ahead, she believes Backswath’s best days are yet to come.
“I feel good about all the work we’ve done for clients,” says Jacquie. “Backswath has come a long way and is well positioned to continue to serve our farm clients in the coming years.”
Jacquie, on behalf of all of us at Backswath, we thank you for everything you’ve accomplished here – and wish you every success in the future.
